The Thousand Islands Regency has received the aid in the form of masks, personal protective equipments (PPE) and rapid test kits from the BPJS Kesehatan.
The aid was directly received by Thousand Islands Regency Secretary Eric PZ Lumbun at the Mitra Praja Office, Sunter, North Jakarta.
City Appreciates Hindu-Buddhist Organizations' Help for Medical WorkersHe hoped that it could be useful to curb the spread of COVID-19 outbreak, specially for medical workers in RSUD and Puskesmas.
"Thank you for the aid and we will distribute them to medical workers soon," he told.
North Jakarta Health BPJS Office Head Shanti Lestari explained the aid itself consisted of 3,000 masks, 50 PPEs, 96 hand sanitizers and 5 boxes of rapid test kits.
"Hopefully it can help them on duty," he hoped.
